TERMS AND CONDITIONS
For donations to Expeditions that Matter Foundation
ARTICLE 1. APPLICABILITY
You will donate to the non-profit Expeditions that Matter Foundation, which has its registered office in Mijdrecht and registered with the Chamber of Commerce under number 81884575.
ARTICLE 2. DONATION CONDITIONS
These donation terms and conditions apply to any online donation made through https://www.expeditionvladivostok.com to Expeditions that Matter Foundation. On the aforementioned website, the donor is asked to accept these donation conditions by ticking a box. Expeditions that Matter Foundation reserves the right to change the donation conditions in the meantime. If one or more provisions in these general terms and conditions should be null and void or destroyed, the other provisions of these general terms and conditions will continue to apply.
ARTICLE 3. RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF EXPEDITIONS THAT MATTER FOUNDATION
Any payment made by a donor through https://www.expeditionvladivostok.com will fully benefit SExpeditions that Matter Foundation. Expeditions that Matter Foundation undertakes to spend the amounts received in accordance with its statutory objectives. Ownership of the donation will pass to Expeditions that Matter Foundation after the donated amount has been credited to the Expeditions that Matter Foundation bank account.
Expeditions that Matter Foundation takes appropriate measures to secure the transfer of data in the context of this promotion. Persons authorized to inspect this data on behalf of Expeditions that Matter Foundation are bound by confidentiality thereof, subject to legally permitted exceptions.
ARTICLE 4. RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF THE DONATOR
The donor cannot derive any rights from a donation other than that Expeditions that Matter Foundation will use the donation for its destination that corresponds with the mission and vision of Expeditions that Matter Foundation. To be able to make a donation, the donor must have reached the age of 18 years.
The donor is obliged to provide his / her name and identity correctly. The donor will make the donation with resources that he / she may dispose of and have control over. Expeditions that Matter Foundation will report this to the police if the donor makes donations under a false name or identity or with means that he / she is not allowed to use and over which he / she has no control.
ARTICLE 5. PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA DUTCH AVG LAW
Expeditions that Matter Foundation processes the personal data provided by the donor in accordance with all applicable legal regulations, including in particular the regulations set by or pursuant to the Personal Data Protection Act. These personal data are processed by Expeditions that Matter Foundation for the purpose of settling donations as referred to in these conditions. Expeditions that Matter Foundation does not make the data of its donors available to third parties.
ARTICLE 6. PAYMENT
As a donor of Expeditions that Matter Foundation you can choose to make a one-time donation or to support monthly. Payments are processed through our online payment platform.
If you opt for a monthly payment, it is easy to cancel or change your donorship. Termination of membership can only be accepted in writing.
ARTICLE 7. COOKIES
Expeditions that Matter Foundation uses cookies on parts of its website. No cookies are placed by Expeditions that Matter Foundation or any other party when you visit the part where the present donations are handled.
ARTICLE 8. FINAL PROVISIONS
Only Dutch law applies to your donation and to these donation terms and conditions. The disclaimer on the Expeditions that Matter Foundation website is fully applicable. If, in the event of a dispute arising, the parties are unable to reach agreement among themselves, they hereby declare that the Utrecht District Court has jurisdiction to hear the dispute.
A dispute exists if one of the parties has made this known to the other party in a registered letter.
All contacts, expressions and activities of Expeditions that Matter Foundation are aimed at succeeding in our mission.
ADDITIONAL:
Acceptance of any contribution, gift or grant is at the discretion of the Expedition Vladivostok. The Expedition Vladivostok will not accept any gift unless it can be used or expended consistently with the purpose and mission of the Expedition Vladivostok.
No irrevocable gift, whether outright or life-income in character, will be accepted if under any reasonable set of circumstances the gift would jeopardize the donor’s financial security.
The Expedition Vladivostok will refrain from providing advice about the tax or other treatment of gifts and will encourage donors to seek guidance from their own professional advisers to assist them in the process of making their donation.
The Expedition Vladivostok will accept donations of cash or publicly traded securities. Gifts of in-kind services will be accepted at the discretion of the Expedition Vladivostok.
Certain other gifts, real property, personal property, in-kind gifts, non-liquid securities, and contributions whose sources are not transparent or whose use is restricted in some manner, must be reviewed prior to acceptance due to the special obligations raised or liabilities they may pose for Expedition Vladivostok.
The Expedition Vladivostok will provide acknowledgments to donors meeting tax requirements for property received by the charity as a gift. However, except for gifts of cash and publicly traded securities, no value shall be ascribed to any receipt or other form of substantiation of a gift received by Expedition Vladivostok.
The Expedition Vladivostok will respect the intent of the donor relating to gifts for restricted purposes and those relating to the desire to remain anonymous. With respect to anonymous gifts, the Expedition Vladivostok will restrict information about the donor to only those staff members with a need to know.
The Expedition Vladivostok will not compensate, whether through commissions, finders' fees, or other means, any third party for directing a gift or a donor to the Expedition Vladivostok.
